Objectives of Blog

This blog is inspired by the positive experience of recording our thoughts every day on holiday. I found the experience very theraputic and helped me reflect on our day, and in the longer term provide a record of the significant things that happened. So if it is good for a holiday then lets give it a go for everyday life.

Today was my second day back at work after the trip to New Zealand. Jet lag is still kicking in in the early morning so I was awake just after 5, however the upside was that I had a relaxed early breakfast. The difference a month has made is amzing, it is now light when I walk to catch the train. Work is challenging at the moment, while the project that I am taking over is interesting the circumstances are not. The treatment of my colleague is shameful, he should be given support, not continual negativity. So for me it is planning what to do when I officially take over the project. At least if the project is perceived as failing the only way is up.

Good to have a talk to Jane and Arnold this evening and share with them the "holiday" experience. Well now off to sleep and see if I can make it later in the night!
